The House Looks a Lot Like My Toy Box

Lately I've heard my humans say that maybe they should sell the house. I don't know what that means, but in the process of selling the house, the house became a mess at first - just like my toy box - and then and impeccable space again.

The house has always been tidy and clean - my humans are clean freaks - but with this idea of selling the house I was afraid to walk in the place. I just didn't want to dirty it.

For the past 3 weeks we've had to evacuate the place a lot. I don't like this! It interrupts with my beauty sleep and my patrolling from window to window making sure no outsider wants to come in.

I just hope that if we move, the new place has plenty of windows for me to look outside. Oh, and I want a comfy sunny spot too. How about a huge yard with lots of squirrels to chase. Is that too much to ask?

I don't like this mess.

Birthday #3!

Today is my day. Happy Birthday to me! Oh yes, we are celebrating BIG today. Ok, not big. I'm having a small gathering with mommy and Master.

I hear I get a special birthday treats and gifts.

Master of course is on photography duty while mommy gets the cake, candles, treats and gift ready.

Today I'm getting doggy birthday cookies as well as my very own homemade birthday treat. Since mommy knows I love to eat and cake is not really good for dogs, she is making me my very own birthday meat ball. I hope it is as large as my face and it better be all for me because I don't feel like sharing today.

Master and mommy sang me happy birthday and since I can't blow off candles, the candles were never lit, but I got the idea. Once mommy took those candles out of my meatball I gulped it down in seconds. I wasn't going to share it with Master and mommy is vegetarian, so I never have to share with her.

After eating my birthday meatball I grabbed a doggy cookie and I headed to mommy's bed to eat it. See the picture to catch all the action.

As for the birthday gift, I got a stuffed toy! Geoffrey the Toys R Us giraffe. He is funny looking but I love playing with him. His long neck is an easy target for me.

Thank you mommy and Master for this unforgettable birthday!

Christmas Gifts

Even though this year I was left home alone for most of the Christmas celebrations, I am glad to see that Santa didn't forget me. After all he made me dress up as an elf.

Tonight my owners showed up with bags full of gifts. At first I stayed away from the bags because I'm afraid of them. I just don't like how they sound and that is why I try to stay as far away from them as I can. However mommy kept calling me closer to the bags and taking things out of them.

Slowly I began approaching the bags. How could I not? Stuffed animals were coming out of the bags. As soon as I saw my Christmas toys I wanted to get to them. I love chewing, licking and shaking them. I shake my stuffed toys so hard that when I release them from my tight grip, they fly across the room. I always fetch them back, and I do it so fast that Master never gets to them before I do.

Anyway, Santa brought me Mr. Teddy, Mario, Monkey Boy, Skunk, rope, Mr. Tiger and Doggy. So far I'm loving Mr. Tiger and Doggy. Thank you Santa!

Don't touch Tiger

I've said before that I like protecting my toys. I don't know why I do this, but I do. I only let my master and mommy take toys away from me. Anyone else must know that I might bite them if they try to take whatever it is I'm protecting.

Tiger is a toy Baba has for me at his house. I like visiting him because he always gives carrot sticks, a rawhide and Tiger to play with.

When I'm allowed on the couch, I cuddle with my buddy like in the picture.Sometimes I play fetch with Tiger, but most of the time I just like to sit with him and make sure Baba doesn't take Tiger away from me.

Hot Summer Day Siesta

Summer here are hot! When the temperature gets so unbearable, all I want to do is sleep. My walks get cut in half because I simply refuse to move.

What dog in his crazy mind would want to walk on hot pavement or on dry, prickly, dead grass? I, for sure rather stay inside relaxing, than suffer from that extreme heat.

This is me taking a siesta on a summer day. All my play buddies are keeping me company and once I wake up feeling refreshed, I will use some of my energy to play with my toys.
